Dr John Sprunt

John came to New Zealand with his wife, Linden, in 1990. The intention was to undertake locum GP work between Otaki and Levin and stay for about 9 months. John is still here 25 years later and has been working full time in Otaki since 1997. He continues to enjoy family medicine and was responsible for the expansion of the medical centre in 2008. Having undertaken a sports medicine course in 1995, he still has an interest in sporting injuries and rehab, as well as teaching medical students and trainee doctors.
